Kelly Merrill
Kelly was born and raised in New Hampshire, and proud of it (Go Patriots!). Kelly attended Radford University as a Dance Major and upon graduating, she landed in Richmond, VA where she worked her way up through restaurants, gaining a love of both Southern Food and Hospitality. This transitioned naturally to the catering and hotel world where she was able to marry her passion of good food, great events, and an organized day-planner. On her days off you can find Kelly enjoying quality time at home with her boyfriend and their adorable dogs Clyde and Bella, playing volleyball, and re-watching Harry Potter movies. Kelly truly has a passion for weddings and special events, she loves that no two weddings are the same and she is thrilled to be a part of their story!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Kelly and her team on an Indian wedding at the Hilton DC National Mall. I have to say I'm blown away by how smoothly everything went! As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of different hotels, venue coordinators, and banquet captains. Though this hotel is brand new, I found the service and level of knowledge/expertise to far surpass some of the properties that have been open for years and have done tons of weddings!
